Concept Art and Storyboard
Created a storyboard of the origin story of my character Clio the werecat. I had an amazing time creating Clio's story. I worked hard drawing and coloring rough drafts 5 days a week. I was driven by my passion to show others the world of my characters. Even though I'm proud of my storyboard there are changes I still need to make to it, to make it even better!

This concept art represents different possible story scenarios for Clio's origin.
I've put a lot of thought into Clio's body design because she is half cat half human. I have seen lots of cat-girl designs in video games, comics, and animes, where most of them are not taken seriously or simply designed to be too cute. I designed Clio to be more threatening to where her claws retract to a huge length. She can produce hellfire magic from her claws! She is spunky, rebellious, and not afraid to fight for what she believes in.
Riley the Living Doll
Riley is created through the love of magic and science from his father, an Alchemist, and his mother, a Fairy Witch. He functions and thinks differently from other characters because he is diagnosed with Asperger syndrome a form of Autism. Riley is full of hope and kindness and that drives him to use his gifts to bring the magic world and human world together.
Betty the Dollhouse
Riley has a gift where he can breathe life into anything he can make by using his soul magic. Betty is originally a doll house he created from wood and clay. Now she is alive and walking on her high heels to help Riley store the rest of his creations. Riley can change the size of his creations. This allows Betty to be the size of a real house or a backpack for Riley to carry her.
Miko the Ninja Doll
Miko is Riley's number one doll he is the most close too. Miko protected Riley from bullies who mistreated him because how different he is from others. Riley felt like an outcast among others but Miko was the doll he needed during those tough times.
Riley Fighting Stances
When Riley is in combat he has two different stances. Ragdoll stance and Puppet's stance provide different sets of moves he uses. In Ragdoll stance, he is faster and uses magical energy attacks that come from his giant sleeves. He has hidden toy weapons within his sleeves that he uses to surprise his opponent.
In his Puppet stance magic strings appear from his hands that connect to his main doll Miko. He provides guidance to her attacks to be more accurate and deadly.
Jem the Siren
I always wanted to create a mermaid character that is stunning and gorgeous. I have always been fascinated with monster designs but at the same time I loved strong female characters. This helped me decide to design tentacle hair for Jem. I wanted to represent more dark skin female characters because of the lack of them in video games. Most beauty queen characters are light skin so I decided to switch it up.
Jem had many musical influences from singers and bands. I imagined Jem to be a pop star and a club singer but her music has deep meanings about monster rights in the human world. Her music is inspired by artists like Billie Holiday, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Lorde.
Jem's powers works around her voice and when she sings to gemstones she unlocks there inner powers. This allows her to manipulate ice, water and even persuade others to do her bidding.
Tubs the Werewolf
Jason Lycan A.K.A Tubs the werewolf is part of a beast gang in a east coast city. His kind are hidden from human society, however they have special skills to morph themselves to appear human.
Even in his human form he still posseses wolf-like features like the permenant black eye lines around his eyes. Canine's eye lids are black and I incorporated that function to Tubs human form.
In order for Tubs to trigger his wolf form, he needs to eat foods that a wolf would typically eat, like a deer heart. When its a full moon though he doesn't need to use this method.
The name Tubs is a nickname because of his appetite and his love for junk food. Tubs has a huge love for Mexican food and chicken nuggets. I wanted to design a chubby male character to show they can be attractive too. Its to support body image of different sizes in people.
Lunar Coast city
Lunar Coast is based of London's gothic architecture. Tubs has a big bad wolf theme therefore, I had to match a city that not only matches Tubs' fairytale theme but all my other characters.
